Module 3 Project Journal

Q Evolve Throughout the course, please complete your weekly Capstone Project journal assignments in your private, individual discussion forum. To do this, click on your Project Journal link at the top of the page (in the blue box). Each time you post in this journal forum, start your post with the Module number of the assignment (the first week, you will title it, "Module 1", in the second week, you will use, "Module 2", etc.). Evaluation Your journal entries will be assessed using the LAPSY 498 Reflections rubric. This is a cumulative assignment (and rubric) where you will earn additional points with each week's additions. Each week points will be ADDED to the journal, so you will not see a final total until the after the last journal entry. This does not mean you are not passing the journal! Look at the feedback for EACH ENTRY to determine how you are doing. If you are earning full points each week, at the end of the course you will receive 100 points total. Your cumulative Journal work is worth 10% of your final grade. • Evaluation of your reflections each week will be based primarily on whether your work is complete, rather than technical correctness. • Your instructor will provide feedback designed to aid both your Capstone Project as well as your professional development. As your Project Journal entries are typically designed to aid the completion of subsequent Project Work, we encourage you to complete your journal work early in the week. However, entries are not technically due until Sunday, 11:59 pm ET.

M3 Project Journal As we work with humans and other living beings, ethics are so important in psychology. Particularly in therapy and research, ethics are the major concern of the psychology field. In treatment, working with clients and patients can pose a great risk if ethics are not considered similarly; in research, while dealing with subjects, there comes a great responsibility to fulfill all the ethical guidelines presented by the American Psychological Association (Yip et al., 2016).
